Hi, I am from the USA and I was wondering what was the cost of a epicanthoplasty or a ptosis correction(incisional and non-incisional).
-I want to make sure the right procedure is done as I do not want a huge change. I just want a 45 degree lift to the epicanthic fold(toward center of forehead) and one that is very natural/subtle (barely any change). I raise my eyebrows, my eyes do get bigger. I am afraid to get anything that would make my eyes too big and look unnatural.

-I am interested in a one-stop service as I unfortunately do not speak Korean (My main Language is English) and was wondering what would be the cost of such a service (taxi + hotel) be provided as part of a package?

-I was wondering what would be the cost of the surgery and length of time I would have to stay in Korea, and the healing time?

-Also do you specialize in male eye surgery? (I would like to make this look very natural and subtle change)

 Thank You, -J

Dear JL,

Thank you for your inquiry and having interest in BK Plastic Surgery Hospital Korea.

Before providing you following information for further arrangement, we would like to appreciate it if you

 person.

Thus, we recommend you to have Skype consultation or email consultation through your pictures and plastic
surgery history before you visit Korea.

If you wish to apply for Skype consultation, please inform us so that we could send you the application form.

Or, if it is not convenient for you, you can send us pictures of your face (Straight front angle and side view) and
 plastic surgery history.

This is general information about Eyelid surgery for you to understand what surgical procedures are like. You will
be able to have more suitable recommendation once you provide us your photos as you are asked above.

  [Surgical description]

 * Epicanthoplasty
Epicanthoplasty is performed by removing the Mongolian folds which are covering inner corner folds. This surgery
can make eyes look bigger, more defined, and have synergistic effects enhancing the overall balance and shape of
eyes at once when performed with double eyelid surgery.

 * Ptosis correction (incisional and non-incisional)
Ptosis correction as known as Levator muscle correction Sleepy and dull appearances are often caused by eyelids
covering pupils due to the weakness of levator muscle. Formation of wrinkles on forehead is inevitable since
raising eyebrows are necessary to open the eyes. Therefore, levator muscle correction to shorten the levator
muscle with incision along the inner surface of eyelid or eyelid creases is mandatory.

  [Recovery time]
Regarding recovery period, you are recommended to stay in Korea for about 7 days for Eyelid surgery, so that you
can get post-operative treatments including stitch removal and you are required to visit the hospital two or three
 times for post-treatments.

Major swelling or bruising will gradually go away in about 1-2 weeks following the surgery day. It is going to take
about a month for minor swelling to subside. You will see the final result at least 6 months to a year after the
surgery. However, the degree of swelling or bruising largely depends on personal cases and conditions.

 * Please kindly find the answers to your questions below

 1. I want to make sure the right procedure is done as I do not want a huge change. I just want a 45 degree lift
to the epicanthic fold (toward center of forehead) and one that is very natural/subtle (barely any change). I raise
my eyebrows, my eyes do get bigger. I am afraid to get anything that would make my eyes too big and look
 unnatural.
 - The surgery site and the design are decided after thorough consultation with both the doctor and consultant. It
is very important that you let the doctor know what your desire is before undergoing a surgery, since everybody
has different standard of beauty. In addition, the right amount of correction will be done during your surgery, to
result in the most natural, but improved look.

 2. I am interested in a one-stop service as I unfortunately do not speak Korean (My main Language is English)
and was wondering what would be the cost of such a service (taxi + hotel) be provided as part of a package?
 - We do have a free pick up service from the airport to our hospital. To avail this service of our hospital, please
kindly apply for the free pick up service in advance, so that our staff can assist you on that matter. For

 3. I was wondering what would be the cost of the surgery and length of time I would have to stay in Korea, and
 the healing time?
 - For general eyelid surgeries, it is recommended for you to stay in Korea for about 7 days, depending on the
surgeries you are going to have. Major swelling or bruising will gradually go away in about 1-2 weeks following
the surgery day. It is going to take about a month for minor swelling to subside. You will see the final result at
least 6 months to a year after the surgery. However, the degree of swelling or bruising largely depends on
personal cases and conditions. Lastly, for the price quote, please send us an email with your photos taken from
front and sides and hour plastic surgery history. We will be able to give you the better and accurate diagnosis
 with price ranges.

 4. Also do you specialize in male eye surgery? (I would like to make this look very natural and subtle change)
 - We do have more and more male patients these days from all over the world. We would like to have the eyelid
surgery specialist to check your condition in person and have a thorough consultation before you decide on
undergoing the eyelid surgery, so that you will get the best expected appearance after having the surgery done
at BK Plastic Surgery Hospital Korea.
